Disassembly and assembly of outer spherical bearings

Series 390000 outer spherical bearings hold the bearing inner ring to the shaft by means of an eccentric sleeve, and the Allen screws on the eccentric sleeve act as a fastener. In the maintenance, many operators will not disassemble and assemble this kind of bearing, so it is necessary to introduce the technical points and precautions for disassembling and installing 390000 series outer spherical bearings:

1. First loosen the locking screw on the bearing eccentric sleeve with an Allen wrench, and then insert a small iron rod into the counterbore on the eccentric sleeve of the top cover, and loosen the eccentric sleeve against the direction of rotation of the shaft.
2. Loosen the bolts that hold the bearing housing. Remove the bearing from the shaft together with the housing. Note before removing the housing at one end of the shaft. The housing bolts at the other end of the shaft should be loosened to avoid damage caused by the pinning of the bearings at both ends.
Installation
1. Before installing the bearing on the shaft, you must first remove the fixing pin of the bearing jacket, and at the same time polish the journal surface smoothly and cleanly, and grease the journal to prevent rust and lubrication (allow the bearing to rotate slightly on the shaft).
2. Apply lubricating oil to the mating surface of the bearing housing and the bearing, and load the bearing into the bearing housing. The assembled bearing is then sheathed to the shaft together with the housing. Push to the desired location for installation.
3. Do not tighten the bolt fixing the bearing seat first, so that the bearing jacket can rotate in the bearing housing. Also install the other end bearing and housing on the same shaft, turn the shaft a few times, and let the bearing itself automatically find the correct position. Then tighten the housing bolts.
4. Install eccentric sleeves. First put the eccentric sleeve on the eccentric step of the bearing inner sleeve and tighten it by hand in the direction of rotation of the shaft. Then insert or press the small iron rod against the counterbore on the eccentric sleeve. Hit the small iron bar with a hand hammer in the direction of rotation of the axis. Install the eccentric sleeve securely, and finally lock the Allen screw on the eccentric sleeve.
