Although its basic performance and deep groove ball bearings should be similar, but because most of this bearing is used in rough machinery, the installation positioning is not accurate enough, the axis alignment of the shaft and the housing bore is poor, or the shaft is long and the deflection is large, etc., and the bearing itself is not high enough, and some structures are also rough, so the actual performance of the performance is quite discounted compared to the same specifications of deep groove ball bearings. For example, outer spherical ball bearings with top wire are used in thru-shafts with large stiffness difference deflection, which are sealed on both sides to prevent dirt ingress and are loaded at the factory
Appropriate amount of lubricant, no cleaning before installation, no need to add lubricant, when the ejector screw on the protruding end of the inner ring of the bearing is tightened on the shaft. The permissible axial load shall not exceed 20% of the rated dynamic load.
Outer spherical ball bearings with eccentric sleeves perform essentially the same as outer spherical bearings with ejector wires, except that the ejector wire is not on the inner ring, but on the eccentric sleeve. Outer spherical ball bearings with a tapered bore have an inner bore with a 1:12 taper and can be mounted directly on a tapered shaft or on a shaftless shoulderless shaft with the help of an adapter bushing, and the bearing clearance can be fine-tuned.
Outer spherical bearings are preferred where simple equipment and components are required, such as in agricultural machinery, transport systems or construction machinery.
